All too soon, we're running out of trail. We postpone the inevitable by riding up Taylor Canyon in the morning and returning to Labyrinth for lunch. Taylor Canyon was notable for the wild profusion of wildflowers and the density of sand traps in the road

The Mineral Bottom climb. We decided that it would be easier to walk up it without the bikes, so we sent all the bikes plus the drivers off to get our cars. Except Paul, who rode out. |
